On 17 January 2018, the Management Board of EL-CAB participated in the conference “Technologies of the Future – ELECTROMOBILITY”, organised under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Poland – Andrzej Duda. Our company has been long active in the electromobility industry, also through supporting its growth. We are pleased that it has become the driving force of the Polish economy. It gives us the opportunity to develop further. The government expects to invest PLN 2.2bn in the development of electromobility. Over 1,000 electric buses will be manufactured for Polish cities. In 2030, one in four vehicles in Poland will be an electric one (including hybrids). Fifty-one local governments in Poland have joined the electromobility programme so far – this means 6,000 buses in these local governments per 10,000 buses moving around Poland. Another assumption of the electromobility programme is the revitalisation of urban transport services in small towns and local governments - the purchase of electric buses (hybrids/trolleybuses/hydrogen vehicles/electric vehicles) will be supported in those areas. For EL-CAB it is the market of the future and a great opportunity for development, in particular in passenger information systems.
