In the previous year, we have inaugurated a tradition of honoring people who have worked at El-Cab for 25 years. In this year, five of our colleagues are celebrating this anniversary. Thus, in late March Pawel Kaczalski, President of the Management Board, has had the pleasure of meeting with all of them to thank for their work and contributions to the company’s growth. The meeting was joyous, yet also very moving.

The event bore special significance for Ms. Aleksandra Lukaszewicz, who not only celebrated quarter of a century spent working at El-Cab, but was also retiring in a handful of days. This unique occasion called for appropriate celebrations. A reliable and loyal employee is every company’s treasure, therefore we have bid farewell to our colleague with emotion and gratitude.

During the farewell meeting, the President has said to Ms. Aleksandra: “Thank you for those wonderful years, dedication and commitment, as well as the effort put into working for our company. I hope that you won’t forget about us and – just like all of us – will fondly remember your years here. I’d like for our retired employees to still feel connected to the company and thus hope to see you at future meetings and anniversaries. While the retirement marks an end to a professional career, one should remember that it also opens a new stage in one’s life.
